Sherrie’s let loose in Saint Lucia!

We’re delighted to have secured Loose Women’s Sherrie Hewson to present a fantastic competition on ITV’s This Morning for our client, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach resort in Saint Lucia.

Sherrie, also famous for her role as Maureen Naylor in Coronation Street, will be able to sip on one of the resort’s famous rum cocktails on her villa balcony when she flies out to Windjammer in late November to film the resort footage with a four man camera crew.

Sherrie is the latest in a line of celebrities we’ve worked with to promote Windjammer – we’ve arranged trips for Richard and Judy and Claudia Winkleman to name but a few, resulting in excellent national coverage in the Sunday Express and Independent.

We’ve organised an enviable prize for a lucky This Morning viewer: seven nights of half-board accommodation for a family of two adults and two children, including return flights from Gatwick. Bowled over by launch of Funscape

We’re excited to be working with Namco Operations Europe Limited (NOEL) on the launch of Funscape, its £4million new entertainment complex opening in the Yellow Qube of Metrocentre at the beginning of November.

We are organising lots of reader offers and fantastic competition prizes within the local media along with organising its official launch with some exciting guests to really give it the opening we have all been so patiently waiting for.

Spanning over a massive 38,000 square feet the impressive complex has an 18 lane ten pin bowling centre, the fastest dodgem car track in Europe, pool tables, children’s soft play, Costa Coffee, a vast selection of popular video and arcade games and a fully licensed bar offering bar snacks and showing Sky Sports. Phew!

With the party season vastly approaching (only 10 weeks until Christmas!), Funscape is a great place to book your works’ Christmas party or just get a few friends together and go Boutique Bowling. Lancashire’s wine school’s expecting a fruitful launch

We are delighted to be working with Newcastle Wine School again on the launch of its second franchise, the Lancashire Wine School.

Lancashire Wine School will be opening its doors in January 2010 to offer anything from a two-hour evening tasting, through to an all day introductory session with lunch, perfect for those who enjoy a tipple and would love to learn more.

The courses will appeal to all, from those with no experience at all to wine industry professionals. There are also ten-week courses which are like travelling on an exclusive wine holiday but without all the expenses.

We’re now busy launching the school in the Lancashire press before the busy Christmas rush, organising features, interviews, competitions and generating as much media coverage as we can to maximise awareness of the school.

Newcastle’s first franchise, Birmingham Wine School has really taken off since we helped to launch it last year and we’re also delighted that we’ll be launching Manchester Wine School too next month!
